I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in August 2016 at Mediclinic in Nelspruit.
I had the tumour removed by a brilliant surgeon in Pretoria, who sent all the results to an Oncologist in Nelspruit.
The Oncologist told us that Colon Cancer patients have a 50% chance of full recovery and that we had to start immediate treatment, as that would be the only chance of survival.
6 weeks of Radiation of the pelvic area, followed by 3 months of Chemotherapy were advised.
There was NO discussion around my general health, lifestyle or diet. The normal protocol of Cut, Burn and Poisonous Chemo were going to be followed.
The prospect was scary! There had to be a better way!!
My husband Chris heard a discussion on the radio about an alternative treatment for cancer, and he remembered the Dr and after searching, we found Cancer SA in Pretoria. This was Prevenient Grace.
During my appointment with Dr Pretorius, his words were, “It will not matter what treatment plan you follow, we HAVE to find the root causes of your cancer, and eliminate them, or the cancer will come back.”
He did many tests, and also sent me to a Periodontist.
I had all my Mercury fillings, a Root Canal, and 2 Cavitations in my jaw surgically removed.
Urine tests revealed extremely high levels of Mercury, Aluminium, Zink, Lead, Iron, Manganese, Nickle and Lead.
I was started on Intravenous Vit C drips, as well as Chelation Drips to get rid of the Heavy Metals.
Over a 2-year period I received 100 drips, and a variety of supplements.
Dr stressed the importance of a healthy diet, less stress, a positive mindset, mild exercise, and a healthy spiritual life.
A friend recommended I read 3 books: Cancer Diagnosed What Now by Dr Willem Serfontein, The Prime Cause of Cancer by Dr Otto Warburg, and Go Natural by Johan Jacobs.
All confirmed that there was a more gentle way in treating cancer and other diseases, with a much higher success rate.
God created us perfectly where the body, if nourished correctly, could heal itself.
Dr Warburg, who received a Nobel prize for his work, said that Cancer cannot survive in an Oxygen-rich, Alkaline environment.
This was confirmed by Johan, as the healthy way of eating he advocates creates an alkaline environment, and all cells are nourished optimally.
What makes the Go Natural book more amazing is that this basic protocol will heal almost any disease, as healthy cells have the ability to self-heal.
I basically followed his dietary guidelines, with a few exceptions due to my specific diagnosis.
My prayer was always, “God, I know you can heal me, and that NOTHING is impossible for you. Please give us wisdom, and the strength to persevere, but, Your will be done.”
During the 2 years of treatment, I never cheated with my diet, and I was not in bed ONE day.
I continued to work full time, 7 days a week, as we were running a small resort at the time, as well as Chris’s Generator business.
God miraculously provided the finances, as the medical aid would not pay for “alternative” treatment.
In 2018, my MRI was clear, and another Colonoscopy in November 2023. Clear!
7 Years later, at the age of 72, I am healthy (except for a few minor aches and pains, age-related) and work full time from home.
I do take time out to work in my garden though, and sometimes forget things!
I praise the Lord for His provision, wisdom, and the people He brings across our path by divine appointment, who generously share their experiences and knowledge with us.
I would not have persevered if it were not for the prayers and support of my husband, children, and wonderful Christian friends.
