Refund and Return Policy

1. Returns

  • Eligibility for Returns:
    Items are eligible for return if they are unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition that you received them. To be eligible for a return, you must provide proof of purchase.

  • Time Frame for Returns:
    You have 7 days from the date of purchase to return an item. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

  • Non-Returnable Items:
    Certain items are exempt from being returned, including:

    • Perishable goods (e.g., grain, seeds and food items).
    • Gift cards.
    • Downloadable software products.
    • Personal care items (e.g., health and hygiene products).

2. Refunds

  • Refund Process:
    Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you via email that we have received your returned item. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds:
    If your return is approved, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days. The refund will be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that it may take some time for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement, depending on your financial institution.

  • Partial Refunds:
    In some situations, only partial refunds may be granted (if applicable):

    • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
    • Items returned after 7 days from delivery.

3. Exchanges

  • Exchanging Damaged or Defective Items:
    We only replace items if they are defective by our supplier or damaged by us or by our forwarding agents. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at hello@thestonemill.co.za.

4. Shipping

  • Return Shipping Costs:
    You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping (if any) will be deducted from your refund.

  • Lost or Undelivered Returns:
    If you are shipping an item worth over R1,000, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Sale Items

  • Refunds on Sale Items:
    Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are final and cannot be refunded.

6. Refund Exceptions

  • Refund Exceptions:
    We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with our policy. Refunds will not be issued for products returned without prior notice or that are damaged due to misuse.
